My research is focused on the study of the lithospheric scale evolution in convergence zones, and in particular within the Arabia-Eurasia and Asia-Eurasia collision zones. I am interested in linking deep and surfaces structures, based on a strong coupling between geophysical and geological data.

My main projects are :

- In the Arabia-Eurasia collision zone :  

I am studying the tectonic and sedimentologic evolution of northern Iran, in particular within the Kopet Dagh fold-and-thrust belt and the Moghan basinMain collaborators: Jean Letouzey, Jaume Vergés, Mohammad A. Kavoosi, Sharham Sherkati, Bet Beamud and Miguel Garcès.


- In the India-Eurasia collision zone :

The eastern border of the Tibetan Plateau, in the Longmen Shan, where I am interested in the importance of the thermal and structural inheritance in the present-day structure of the belt. This research is integrated in the Longriba Project ( Main collaborators: Manuel Pubellier, Jérôme Vergne, Julia de Sigoyer, Vincent Godard and Stéphanie Duchêne.


I work on lithospheric-scale structures of the Eurasian region from geophysical modeling. This research is funded by the DARIUS program ( Main collaborators: Jaume Vergés, Manel Fernàndez, Ivone Jimenez-Munt.
